This site was started by three friends who wanted an easier way to select wines in all situations in life. Wine has always been a mystery to most people and the goal of this website is to de-mystify the wine selection process and help everyone in selecting wines and keeping track of what they are drinking. A big priority (to our CTO anyway) was answering the question, what is the best wine for under $10? He normally refuses to cross the $10 mark in wine buying and when he does it is a gamble because there are so many to choose from with no real recommendation. Our site is easily configurable for any price range for any type of wine, making the selection process easier for people to get the best wine for their budget.

Even when a recommendation is made by a friend, coworker, or even a magazine there is always the question, where can I actually buy this wine? At FindMywine.com we are continually building a database to help everyone in the US be able to search wines and determine where they can buy it in a store close to them. Wine selection at restaurants is also very intimidating and this site has begun to build a database of wine lists so our users can make the perfect selection when they are out on a special dinner without worry that they will spend a lot of money on a low quality bottle of wine.
